ECOM – Environmental consultancy in Montenegro

ECOM – Environmental consultancy in Montenegro is an independent and voluntary association that gathers experts in environmental protection with the main goal of raising awareness and developing ecological culture among young people, through cooperation with related environmental organizations and institutions on national and international levels. The organization’s headquarters is in Kotor, and its activities cover the entire territory of Montenegro.
The main goals and tasks of ECOM are:

  • organization of environmental activities and implementation of projects, independently or in
    cooperation with related environmental institutions, organizations, and associations of citizens
  • International cooperation and membership in ecological networks and associations
  • education and raising of public awareness regarding the need to protect the environment and
    the development of ecological culture among young people.
  • expanding environmental scientific and professional knowledge through cooperation and
    information exchange with related organizations
  • organization of workshops, seminars, presentations, exhibitions, and similar activities in order
    to introduce and apply the achievements of modern science and practice of environmental
    protection.

ECOM is a newcomer in the Erasmus+ world. However, having great experience in youth work and expertise in environmental issues it will bring the aspect of green practices into the project.
